Barack Obama is the new President of the USA

It's indeed a historical moment. An African American President for USA. (I don't like to use the term 'black' that BBC and other networks are using).
While it remains to be seen if Obama can deliver on all the promises he has made in this election, he is indeed charismatic and he is a good public speaker. It is little wonder that McCain lost.
More importantly, my ears will no longer be jarred by the speeches of the soon to be ex-President, Mr George W Bush. It has been a painful 8 years and I've never seen a more inept President. May the world be a better place after he is gone.
